INGRID, HANNES STÜTZ U.A., Mach dir nichts vor, Teeny, 1967

40 years ago Pläne records from Dortmund produced this political beat record for the youth of the German metal-workers union IG Metall. Good intentions aside it was a strange and inevitably unsuccessful endeavour: the songs were too obvious in trying to agitate the teenagers plus the music was not really rockin`. Hannes Stütz , a actor, folk-singer, political activist and publisher, and some other people from the folk scene were too far removed from the teen scene than to get through to the average working-class teenager.

The song No, my Darling is about international workers solidarity,  Mach dir nichts vor, Teeny is about teenagers false ideals of pop stars, money and success and  Hej, der Buffke kommt is about the system of the bosses that has to be destroyed.
