AUKTION/DESTRUKTION happening at the Kollage in Berlin, Kreuzberg. On the same night we are also proud to introduce Eli Salzman from Santa Cruz, California who is going to perform at aroung 9 p.m.
Eli, who just moved to Berlin a month ago, is a singer/songwriter with a great voice and beautiful heartfelt songs. Come early to warm up a bit from the freezing cold outside and listen to Eli Salzman! And then get ready for some record destruction!!!
Last month I made another blog, this time to showcase some of my own, instead of other people`s stuff. I will use it to present my most recent illustration and comics work. It`s called MONOVISION
Also I moved some of the comics-related links to that site and added some new music blogs.
One of them is a new Estonian blog about Russian records appropriately called Melodija.
My socialist brother-blog Ostberlin Beatet Besseres is still posting like crazy and great stuff too recently. Check it out!
I will stay with my weekly schedule.
About me:
My name is Andreas Michalke. I´m a cartoonist from Berlin, Germany and I like collecting records. Most of the records I find in thrift stores or at flea markets here in Berlin. I like a lot of music but I thought I`d focus on odd German records. Preferably with cartoon covers.
All my scans are high-resolution. If you double-click on them they will get much bigger.

wie bringt man denn die Platte am besten innen Computer rein, also: wie nimmst du den Sound auf? Mein Freund redet immer davon, dass er das auch mal machen will, aber weiß nicht so recht wie. Danke schon mal!

Hallo Vanessa,
ich benutze zum digitalisieren “WavePad”. Eine einfache “shareware” Version des Programms kannst du umsonst im Internet runterladen. Die Oberfläche ist total simpel, sieht aus wie bei einem Kasettenrecorder. Was du dann noch brauchst ist ein Kabel mit einem kleinen Chinch-Stecker (der kommt in den Mikrofon Eingang des Computers) der in einen doppelten Chinch-Stecker mündet (rot und Weiss). Der kommt in den Verstärker. Sobald die Musik läuft, nimmt das Programm auf. So jedenfalls mache ich das. Es gibt natürlich noch andere und bessere Programme.
