Vico Torriani was the king of Swiss pop-music in the 50s and 60s. This is him twisting, yodeling and skiing “until the doctor comes” as we say here in Berlin…

The first shy steps of the Existentialists in Zürich:

These cartoons are from the Swiss satire magazine “Nebelspalter” No.17, April 1951. Probably the world`s oldest satire-magazine, “Nebelspalter” has been running for 134 years!

My name is Andreas Michalke. I´m a cartoonist from Berlin, Germany and I like collecting records. Most of the records I find in thrift stores or at flea markets here in Berlin. I like a lot of music but I thought I`d focus on odd German records. Preferably with cartoon covers.
